The Adelaide Fringe is over, but the fun is not over yet!
See it LIVE: Plazapalooza is a FREE live music event for all ages taking place at Festival Plaza on Friday 31 March.
The event will feature videos and performances by George Glass and Street Legal and other bands who participated in C44’s Fringe Award-winning 10×10 even, which connected ten bands with ten filmmakers to create music videos together in just ten days!.
Adelaide Fringe Director and CEO Heather Croall said, “These filmmakers and bands will now have an opportunity to showcase their works at Plazapalooza as part of the celebration of the See It LIVE initiative.”
Minister for Arts Andrea Michaels MP added, “Live music is vital to South Australia’s culture, wellbeing and nightlife, and we are thrilled that the success of our $10 million See It LIVE campaign is being celebrated through this exciting event held in partnership with Adelaide Fringe and the Festival Plaza.”
The $10 million See It LIVE package was launched in June 2022. It supports musicians, venues and promoters throughout the state as part of a range of initiatives including e-vouchers, grants, mental health support programs, financing for venue upgrades, and an events cancellation fund. Further, it encourages South Australians to attend their favourite venues.
As a part of the See it LIVE program, Plazapalooza offers live music and food and drinks from local bars and vendors.
The event at Festival Plaza is free and does not require tickets.
Friday, 31 March, 5pm – 10pm.
