The dynamic, award-winning duo behind global sensation Talk to Me and the RackaRacka YouTube channel will share their incredible journey from Adelaide to Hollywood and beyond at independent cinema The Mercury. This is a must-attend, whether you’re an emerging filmmaker, a cinema lover or one of RackaRacka’s 6.8 million YouTube followers.
Danny and Michael Philippou will break down some of Talk to Me’s iconic scenes, offering insights into their creative process and the making of a film that ‘might be’ Chris Hemsworth’s ‘favourite film this year.’
They’ll also share how they began their careers as filmmakers in Adelaide, and what else is on the horizon.
Proceeds from the evening will go towards The Mercury’s programs for emerging filmmakers, supporting the next generation of South Australian talent.
