Applications open for First Nations performing arts workshop

The Arts Pathway Program by ActNow Theatre is a five-day workshop series for First Nations People interested in careers in the performing arts industry.

Running between the 28 November and 2 December, the program will give participants an extensive understanding in the foundations of the arts industry, along with the knowledge of options for further training and employment.

Successful applicants will meet with key people in the industry, learn the basis of studying acting and other art careers, and work in an environment of like-minded people.

Led by a First Nations artist and supported by ActNow’s Associate Artist Nathan May, the Arts Pathway Program will allow individuals to gain an insight into the steps taken in becoming a professional artist, actor or arts worker.

No acting experience necessary!

For further information about how to apply, visit the ActNow Theatre Website.
