New shows coming in 2024!

Be Curious is a new three-episode series, premiering 3 March 2024, that will break down barriers between scientists and the public and inspire the next generation of South Australian scientists and innovators.

Hosted by science communicator and first-time TV presenter Alison Kershaw from Inspiring SA, Be Curious explores the groundbreaking science and trailblazing technology happening in the North Terrace institutions that many of us pass every day.

Episode 1: MOD.

Be Curious host Alison Kershaw explores MOD., a futuristic museum of discovery at the University of South Australia. MOD. brings researchers, industry and students together to be inspired by ideas at the intersection of science, art and innovation. In the exhibition Flex, Alison explores research into chronic pain.

Episode 2: South Australian Museum

Be Curious host Alison Kershaw explores five floors of endless wonders and significant national and international collections at the South Australian Museum. Go behind the displays and exhibitions with Alison to meet the museum’s scientists, researchers, curators and designers who undertake research and work to advance our understanding of our world and to care for the collections for future generations.

Episode 3: The Australian Space Discovery Centre 

Be Curious host Alison Kershaw explores The Australian Space Discovery Centre, part of the Australian Space Agency at Lot Fourteen. Join Alison to meet the amazing innovators advancing the Australian space industry and leading research and innovation projects that will impact our everyday lives and our future.
