Get your coat! The Glenelg Winter Arts Festival returns in July

Get your coat and get on a tram! Glenelg Winter Arts Festival will return to the Bay in July with live art and entertainment to get us out during the cooler days and nights.

From 5 to 21 July, Colley Reserve will be abuzz with shows and undercover spaces in which to eat, drink and gather with friends and family.

Immerse yourself in an electric atmosphere plus hot food, and a bar serving a special winter drinks menu, framed by fire pits and big-top tents. Inside these cosy, heated venues, enjoy a lineup of headliner stand-up comedy, thrilling circus acts, captivating burlesque performances, and riveting family shows.

From the comedy of Wil Anderson and Geraldine Hickey to the mesmerising performances of Rouge and Dom Chambers. Feel the soulful melodies of Prinnie Stevens, take in the energy of Millicent Sarre, and witness the awe-inspiring acrobatics of Circus the Show. Let Tash York entertain you with her distinctive style, groove to the sounds of Wonderful! A Celebration of Stevie Wonder and see physical theatre like you’ve never seen it before with Fool’s Paradise.

Director of Gluttony, Elena Kirschbaum said, “After last year’s overwhelming success, we are thrilled to bring back Glenelg Winter Arts Festival with a fresh lineup of acts and entertainment. Festival-goers can expect the same signature atmosphere that made last year’s event so special, with even more surprises and delights in store. This year promises to be bigger, better, and more unforgettable than ever before!”

City of Holdfast Bay Mayor Amanda Wilson said, “Glenelg is perfectly positioned to host a winter festival once again, with so much to enjoy – before and after seeing a show. We cannot wait to welcome back crowds to the second edition of the Glenelg Winter Arts Festival which will again be Adelaide’s hottest event this July.”

Tickets are on sale now on the Glenelg Winter Arts Festival website.
