The winners of the 2023 Adelaide Fringe Awards have been announced, with a total 34 gongs handed out and a prize pool of over $75,000 dispersed to artists.
In a ceremony held at Tandanya, hosted by Kween Kong and streamed live by C44, the awards celebrated the very best performances in the Adelaide Fringe. You can see the whole ceremony on Channel 44 on Sunday 19 March at 9pm.
Thank you to everyone who participated at Fringe this year and made the season the success it was. And a massive congrats to all the Adelaide Fringe 2023 winners. We can’t wait to see what happens next for all these incredible shows and artists.

Judged by a panel of arts industry leaders and arts lovers, the overall awards celebrate the best show in each of the fourteen categories. A brand new award, announced today, is the Sarah Rohrsheim Fringe Fellowship Award, with a prize purse of $25,000. This award allows an artist to take their work around the world and helps recognise Adelaide Fringe as a great springboard for artists. The Frank Ford Award is awarded to a South Australian artist to help them tour their work to new audiences and comes with a $20,000 prize purse.
Adelaide Fringe Director and CEO Heather Croall said, “Thank you to everyone who participated at Fringe this year and made the season the success it was. And a massive congrats to all the Adelaide Fringe 2023 winners. We can’t wait to see what happens next for all these incredible shows and artists.”
