Adelaide cultural icon Carclew is celebrating 50 years of transforming young lives through creativity!
Since 1972, Carclew has delivered innovative arts programs enabling young people to grow through creative participation and invest in their health, wellbeing and careers through creativity.
From 4pm on Saturday 26 November, you’re invited to celebrate Carclew’s 50th birthday, when the grounds of Carclew House will be transformed into a party scene with live music, entertainment, and workshops, showcasing the Carclew programs supporting young emerging creatives.
There will be activities for children, food trucks, artist market stalls, picnic rugs and a bar for the grownups.

Carclew’s birthday celebrations are also part of a fundraiser, aiming to raise $50,000 towards another 50 years! All donations received before Thursday 8 December 2022 will be matched by Creative Partnerships Australia’s dollar-for-dollar matched funding for artists and arts organisations, helping to create a more sustainable and financially supported cultural sector.
