“I love the process of creating a show as the ideas pop up,” says Michael Zeitz, creator of new comedy travel show, The Rambling Man. “Shooting on iPhone as I travel means I can have an idea, present to camera, and get all the shots I need on the spot”.
With a history of working mainly behind the camera and in the editing suite over the past 15 years, Michael says it’s a process that’s evolved a lot over that last year. “The footage is obviously important, but the edit is where it needs to go to another level. It’s pretty time consuming, but at the end of the day, if it makes my friends laugh, I’m happy”.
Always a lover of travel and comedy, Michael says The Rambling Man will continue. “I’ve got a few trips planned, and I’ll have a phone in my pocket, so I don’t see an end any time soon.”
